YAG Laser

YAG stands for Yttrium Aluminum Garnet, and these three elements/mineral/semi precious stone are the energy source for the YAG laser, just as carbon dioxide is the energy source for the CO2 laser.  The particular YAG that we use at Ageless is the most effective laser available for removing dilated vessels of the face and legs due to the particular wavelength of light used is preferentially absorbed by the blood vessels. This makes it the most effective at removing the veins, while protecting the skin and surrounding tissues.

Most dilated vessels or the face are treated with an advanced YAG laser, although occasionally, depending on the veins and your skin IPL / photorejuvenation or the pulsed dye laser may be the more appropriate treatment.
